Description
The grill grate is made of a solid enameled robust cast iron which retains the heat and distributes it evenly over the whole surface. The grate consists of many small pores that absorb flavour and fats optimally, leading to unsurpassed results.
The Morsø Grill ’71 was hailed as the best grill in a large test in 2004, ahead of others including Weber and Dancook. And this was not surprising. Grill ’71 has a grate of solid, enameled cast iron, which gives some entirely unsurpassed advantages when it comes to grilling. The special finish of cast iron has innumerable small pits, which can retain fat and flavours from the
meat. This achieves just the right effect of the meat frying in its own fat. On the other hand, smooth stainless steel has the disadvantage that the fat slides off, so the steak isn’t fried, but toasted.
